Maison J.A Carel owes its name to the famous explorer Jean-Antoine Carrel who was one of the first climbers to attempt to summit the Matterhorn in 1857. Inspired by its name sake this small development is nestled against an alpine forest and situated below the famous peak of the Matterhorn. The apartments are in keeping with the local architecture and provide 15 individual residences at an altitude of 2,050m.
These well designed apartments provide rustic alpine mountain lodges with high quality modern appliances, including Ernesto Meda designed kitchens. These properties are located in a fantastic private and tranquil location on the outskirts of the resort of Cervinia and are able to take full advantage of all that is on offer both in the winter and summer seasons.
The communal areas and interiors of each apartment have been designed with an exceptional attention to detail with exposed woodwork, stone facing and rustic fire places to provide exceptional charm, comfort and character.
