Domaine des Anges comprises a Maison de Maître and 'Chai' arranged around a central private gated courtyard with impressive views over the Burgundy vineyards and countryside.
The property dates back to the 15th century, when it was used as a farmhouse. It was subsequently the family home of the renowned local wine producer Louis Chavy and remains structurally suited to the recommencement of on-site wine production. The buildings have retained many period features, including spectacular vaulted wine cellars, exposed timber beams and local stone facades.
The Domaine is currently trading as a Chambres d'Hotes, however it offers a variety of further options. Subject to confirmation of planning, the outbuildings have the potential to be converted into six additional one, two and four-bedroom townhouses for seasonal rental or sale (see brochure for further information).
Alternatively, its central location makes it highly suitable for a boutique hotel. Finally, it could also lend itself to being returned in its entirety to a private residence. There is historic planning permission in place for a swimming pool in the garden.
