A double flight of stone steps or 'perron' lead up to the main entrance. Accommodation is offered over three floors. The grounds are extensive and cover 63 hectares ; 52 hectares are pastureland and 6 are woodland. The immediate gardens around the château include a south-east facing terrace with electric awning and railings with steps leading to a paved area with a pergola, covered in vines and passion flowers for al fresco dining, an enclosed pool area with hedge and gate (pool with new liner 2015), a tennis court of 34x17 m surfaced with artificial grass, a summer house located near the tennis court. Mature flower borders, lawns, roses and interesting trees surround the pool and tennis court, the terraces and the château.
The Pyrenees can be reached in 90 minutes and offer an abundance of water sports such as rafting, canoeing and kayaking as well as skiing and snow-boarding. The sandy beaches of the Atlantic Coast are also 90 minutes away, making this an ideal all year round holiday destination.
